Brand Cooperation Taoshou introduces EP.1|Strong rising stars: Zhu Yi & Zhang Li

In recent years, while searching for high-quality pots for everyone, I have come across many potters with superb craftsmanship and similar pot-making concepts. Adhering to the basic principle of all-hand production, we strive to make each unique work. Today I will introduce two young potters who cooperate with the brand, Zhu Yi and Zhang Li.

Zhu Yi

[Famous for thin tire technology]

Clay making is the most basic process for making a purple clay teapot. The simpler it is, the more difficult it is to perfect it.

Teacher Zhu Yi is good at beating the clay pieces to an extremely thin level, and can ensure that they will not collapse when making the pot and will not deform after firing. The weight of each finished pot with lid is only half of its capacity. The thin-body teapot greatly improves the small trouble of the purple clay teapot being heavy in the hand, which is a bit burdensome for girls to make tea with one hand. The teapot is light and flexible in the hand, and can achieve the feeling of human and machine integration.

To be fair, there are only a few pottery hands on the market that can make such light works. Teacher Zhu Yi’s craftsmanship is obvious to all, which is why the brand chose to cooperate with the teacher in Yun Yun Tao’s hands.

Zhang Li

[Persistent in making arcs consistent]

The editor often emphasizes the importance of seeing the smallest details, because Tao Shou's persistence and persistence can be seen in the smallest places. Imperfect details can directly affect the charm and appearance of the entire work.

Teacher Zhang Li is particularly obsessed with details. When making pots, he pays special attention to the consistency of the curvature of the pot body and lid. Therefore, no matter what angle the teacher's works are viewed from, the round lines and full surface of the pot body are very perfect.

This degree of perfection is precisely achieved by tapping the shape with human hands, ensuring that each stroke must be evenly applied. If there is excessive force, the surface will be slightly concave, and the angle of refraction of light will be different, the overall fullness will be greatly compromised. Oh!

#Attention to skills,

Also pay attention to Tao Shou’s understanding and principles

When a brand chooses to cooperate with Tao Shou, strength is certainly one of the criteria to consider, but it will also value Tao Shou's understanding and purpose of making pots.

Many ancient pot models have a unique and rustic charm. Potters need a certain level of aesthetics and understanding to understand the subtle proportions of the pot models and create works that have both form and spirit. Insisting on making teapots entirely by hand, creating works that are both practical and craftsmanship from a people-centered perspective, this is exactly what contemporary new-school potters need in the purple clay industry.

The above is the first two brands to introduce to you the cooperation with Taoshou. Please look forward to the introduction of the cooperation with Taoshou in the future~
