mission statement
Direct delivery from tea farmers, quality supply
Cha-Tailor delves into various tea regions, personally visiting tea gardens to purchase from tea farmers. They take small quantities each time to ensure quality. Tea lovers carefully select high-quality tea leaves, which must have a clear source to ensure peace of mind while drinking. By sourcing directly from tea farmers, they can understand the changes in climate and tea leaf quality, meticulously grasping the details and differences of each batch of tea.
Obsessed with taste
Cha-Tailor focuses on preserving the aroma and flavor of traditional tea. Regardless of the strength of the tea's fragrance and taste, we consistently pursue tea that is free from any grassy notes, with rich floral aromas, a full-bodied flavor, and a lingering aftertaste. We are committed to removing excessive tea stems and fragments to avoid affecting the tea infusion, ensuring that our customers enjoy tea that is close to perfection.
Persistence in quality
The tea farmers collaborating with Cha-Tailor operate their tea gardens in an organic or semi-organic manner. These farmers come from tea-growing families with over thirty years of experience in tea production, and they regularly participate in pesticide assessments to ensure that no excessive pesticides are applied. Some farmers even have their tea tested in advance, so Cha-Tailor has a clear understanding of the quality of the tea and the inspection data.
Dedicated to making tea
The tea farmers we collaborate with are families engaged in tea production and tea business in Taiwan and Chaozhou. They test the skills of tea masters, and we insist on "making tea according to the tea," ensuring that our approach is never uniform and never blindly follows trends. Tea leaves can vary due to environmental conditions, weather, and harvesting time. To produce good tea, tea masters must adjust the roasting and fermentation processes. We only work with tea farmers who adhere to principles such as not picking tender leaves, ensuring sufficient sun withering, adequate water management, proper fermentation, and a commitment to sustainable development of tea gardens.
