2. Origin of origin

Lancang is the only Lahu autonomous county in the country. The Lahu people are one of the oldest ethnic groups in the world. The Lahu people have a long history and are rich in historical legends. Legend has it that the ancestors of the Lahu people originally lived a hunting life. In order to chase a red deer that fled into the dense forests in the south, they discovered a grassland with lush water and grass, and then migrated from north to south. Around the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the entire clan moved into Yunnan.

The ancient tea tree communities in Yunnan are concentrated in the three major tea areas of Xishuangbanna, Pu'er and Lincang. Lincang is the largest producer of Pu'er tea raw materials and is known as the "Tea Cang of the World". In particular, the two Shantou teas, Iceland and Xigui, are not only the representative teas of Lincang tea area, but also very famous in the entire Pu'er tea industry.

3. Production process

Pu'er tea is made from the fresh leaves of the Yunnan large-leaf tea tree, which requires processes such as greening, rolling, and sun-drying. After the tea leaves are picked and fermented naturally, the nature of the tea is more irritating. After being stored for many years, the nature of the tea will become milder.
