2. Origin of origin

The mother tree, Dahongpao, grows on the cliff of Jiulong Nest in Tianxin Rock, Wuyi Mountain. The mother tree has been there for more than 360 years. The six tea trees respectively cover three tea tree varieties: 4 Beidou plants, 1 Qidan plant, and 1 Quetan plant. The tea leaves from the six tea trees have not been allowed to be picked since the mother tree Dahongpao was protected by the state in 1992, and will not be sold on the market, except for 20 grams of which are auctioned every few years.

In the early 1980s, asexually propagated mother tree Dahongpao was developed and cultivated in large quantities in Wuyi Mountain. The Dahongpao we drink today is inoculated from the mother tree and is divided into pure Dahongpao and blended Dahongpao. Purebred Dahongpao refers to a Dahongpao made from a certain strain of the mother tree Dahongpao cultivated through vegetative propagation. Therefore, it cannot be called second-generation or third-generation Dahongpao, because tea trees cultivated through vegetative propagation do not have generations. .

The Qidan cultivated by the Dahongpao mother tree grows on high rocks and has an excellent ecological environment, so it can cultivate the ultimate tea with outstanding rock charm and extraordinary style. When brewed with boiling water, it emits a rich and mellow aroma of flowers and fruits. The tea soup is sweet and smooth, with a mellow and sweet aftertaste and obvious rock charm.

3. Production process

The tea makers pursue a complete fermentation and roasting process, and hand-craft the finest rock tea, which is then slowly simmered over three charcoal fires. There is absolutely no smell of odor, and they insist on making high-quality handmade tea products.
