*Condition: Not brand new* - Some teapots may have been brewed with tea soup by the boss or domestic colleagues to test the properties of the clay or for sales promotion purposes. The teapot may have slight signs of aging, but it does not affect daily use. Perfectionists choose carefully.

Features of the teapot: The lotus seed teapot is derived from the "lotus seed pot" that became popular during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty. It has a straight mouth, hanging shoulders and round feet, a long round body with a bulging belly, and a slightly bulging cover when the lid is attached, and the overall shape is like a lotus seed. In the early Qing Dynasty, lotus seed pots were popular, including tall lotus seeds, ancient lotus seeds, large lotus seeds, etc.

The work is full and plump as a whole, with shoulders and necks stretched and relaxed. The workmanship of the sub-bus lines is particularly excellent and closely consistent. The lines of the pot body transition like flowing clouds and flowing water, and the overall visual balance is symmetrical.

[Strong Young Potters] - Lu Tao, born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province in 1981, studied art with provincial master Zhang Zhengzhong and associate professor Wang Hui of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University in 2014. Mainly engaged in the teaching and creation of sculpture and purple clay pottery . His works have participated in provincial and national exhibitions many times and won awards.
