[Expert of all-handmade red clay] - Qin Xun, a national-level assistant arts and crafts artist, was born in Bijie City, Guizhou Province in 1981. He graduated from the School of Art and Design of Nanjing Normal University and came to Dingshu Town, the pottery capital of Yixing, in 1997. He specializes in the study of hand-made red clay, and his works are mostly made of Zhaozhuang red clay, Xiaomei Kiln red clay, etc. Teacher Qin strictly monitors the quality of his works and often breaks teapots with his own hands to check the works. He is deeply loved by teapot lovers in Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regions.
Teacher Qin once shared that having Tao as his companion enabled him to grow continuously, understand the value and philosophy of life, and learn the truth that making a pot is like being a human being. Based on traditional cultural elements, we seek the truth and integrate our own personality into our works. We seek the truth in all things and integrate our own thoughts and values into our works.
