Craftsman background:

[Ancestor of Vintage] - Geng Hao, born in 1987, the fourth generation descendant of the Huang family. Great-grandfather Huang Desheng and grandfather Huang Yuejun were the veterans of the Zisha Craft Factory. They were influenced by the art of their mother Huang Liping from an early age. They were fond of calligraphy and painting since childhood. They studied at the Department of Fine Arts of Nanjing Normal University, majoring in plastic design. After graduating from university, they worshiped Tan Ju, a powerful figure in the No. 1 Zisha Factory. Hui became his teacher, and later he became his teacher under Wu Ming, a master of Chinese ceramic art. He also received guidance from Gu Dingrong and Shi Yin. In recent years, he has been studying hard, and his works are simple and elegant, pursuing tradition, pursuing uniqueness, and developing his own personal style. He is good at making pots by hand. His works have been well received by pot art enthusiasts.

Geng Hao is good at integrating modern elements into Mugu pots. His work "Mu Ming and Qing Furniture Window" won the second prize in the 2012 Handmade Ceramics Competition. He is now a national arts and crafts artist. The National Assistant Arts and Crafts Artist was once employed by "Zisha House" as its contract craftsman.
