Wu Tao, a national-level arts and crafts artist, was born in March 1989 in a purple sand family in the pottery capital of Yixing. He studied under Tan Yuewei, a researcher-level senior arts and crafts artist. Under his words and deeds, he became proficient in all kinds of handmade pot making and purple clay clay preparation. He has been influenced by his father's purple clay research since he was a child, and he must have the ability to self-study and appreciate the purple clay culture of China's past dynasties. Many of his works have been collected by museums.
