[Academic specialization, adhering to tradition and innovative ideas] - Jiang Yan, a national-level senior arts and crafts artist (graduated as a senior engineer), was born in Yixing, the capital of pottery, in 1955. He studied at the Zisha Craft Factory in 1973. He once studied under the famous artist Wang Yinchun, the Chinese arts and crafts master Lu Yaochen and the senior arts and crafts artist Li Bifang. He has systematically studied the traditional purple clay plastic art and the origin and history of purple clay. Starting in 1980, he went to the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts three times to study plastic design. , Introduction to Ceramic Design and the Development History of World Ceramics. After nearly 40 years of ceramic design, molding and production, it has now formed its own style and characteristics. In 1981, he graduated from the Ceramics Department of Tsinghua University. The works are famous for their simplicity, simplicity, roundness and domineering. In 2010, he was listed as a classic purple clay artist and appreciator of works by the Ministry of Culture's "White Paper on the Chinese Art Market". He is currently a member of China Arts and Crafts Society, China Industrial Design Association, China Ceramics Association, and China Zisha Professional Association. At the same time, he was hired as a senior consultant by Guangdong Zisha Association and Hunan Zisha Association.
