The teapot is based on the red clay teapot of the early Qing Dynasty. Teacher Feng Haojie added his own creation on this basis and changed the knob from the original round shape to a column knob to make the straight line of the teapot more balanced with the curved layout.

The lines of the pot body, lid and handle are mainly curved, and the curvature lines are smooth, giving people a soft and round feeling. There are three balance lines on a teapot from top to bottom, namely the button line, the line formed by the spout, spout and handle, and the line extending from the bottom of the pot. The three horizontal lines neutralize the soft beauty of the teapot itself, making the teapot more neat and elegant, and bringing out the charm of the teapot that emphasizes both hardness and softness.

The design concept of "Juquan" comes from clear spring water. The teacher compared the body of the pot to a spring. When the tea comes out, the tea soup pours down from the spout like a small waterfall. The most profound design of Mr. Feng Haojie is the modification of the spout. He changed the spout of the pot to a straight-flow tongue spout to make the water flow brighter and smoother, and more closely match the artistic conception.

The teapot is made of vermilion clay, which has a high shrinkage rate and is very difficult. In addition, the design of the large flat bottom imitates the ancient model, which is a self-challenge for the teacher. In addition, the theme of the teapot is a clear spring. The spring water is suitable for brewing oolong tea, and the red clay teapot is also a useful tool for brewing oolong tea. The two echo each other.
