During the Mid-Autumn Festival, many people choose to eat mooncakes with a pot of tea to eliminate the greasiness, but do you know which tea products can really remove the greasiness? In order to study the ability of tea to decompose oil, a TV program uses green tea, Pu'er and Tibetan tea as test targets. Let’s take a look at which of these three teas has the best effect in breaking down fat!
Make butter tea with three tea products
The researchers selected three tea products as test subjects, namely green tea, Pu'er tea and Tibetan tea, and made these three tea products into butter tea that Tibetans often drink. As the name suggests, butter tea is made by beating butter and tea together to supplement the Tibetan people's source of heat and maintain their body temperature in the plateau area.
The researchers first poured three equal amounts of tea leaves into butter tea-making containers, then added butter and stirred to mix. When it's just finished, you can see that the three types of tea are fully mixed, and the color is the same milk tea color, which is not much different from ordinary butter tea.

Leave it for 24 hours and test results
After making the butter tea, the researchers left them for twenty-four hours.
Twenty-four hours later, the researchers found that among the three cups of tea, only the butter tea made from Tibetan tea still maintained a uniform color, while the other two teas showed varying degrees of oil-water separation, with the oil condensing into lumps and floating on the tea. on the surface.
Based on the above experimental results, the researchers concluded that green tea and Pu'er tea have little ability to absorb oil. In fact, it is difficult to remove the oil accumulated in the body through eating. On the other hand, Tibetan tea can still maintain the blending of oil and water after a day, which shows that the effect of breaking down oil is obvious. So why does Tibetan tea have good ability to absorb oil? Enzymes are produced during the process of making Tibetan tea, and the lipase in them breaks down the oil and fat in food into monoacylglycerol and free fatty acids that the body can absorb. In addition, the tea saponin in Tibetan tea blocks the activity of pancreatic lipase in food, which can reduce the body's absorption of fat in food, thus playing a role in weight loss.

Tibetans often say: "It is better to go without food for three days than to go without tea for one day." This is enough to prove how important Tibetan tea is to Tibetans who eat more meat and less vegetables every day. From the results of this experiment, it can be seen that the green tea that many people often drink and the Pu'er tea that is generally believed to have the effect of resolving oil are actually not as effective in eliminating oil as Tibetan tea. During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, you can try Tibetan tea, which may give you a different feeling!
