    [Master of Clay Painted Dragon Sculpture]  Fan Shouchang , born in 1970, is a senior arts and crafts artist, an outstanding young and middle-aged ceramic artist, a member of the China Arts and Crafts Association, and a member of the Jiangsu Zisha Association.  In 1989, he resolutely gave up his job as a carpenter and joined the Yixing purple sand industry. had suffered Guidance from many famous purple sand masters such as Wang Yinxian and Xu Xiutang. In 1990, he entered the Zisha Factory with the first place in his major ( Currently working at the Zisha Museum). In 1996, he started to open his own studio. In 1999, he was selected as one of the "Top Ten Folk Artists" in Yixing City.

    In 2005, he created the representative work "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", which also won the honorary title of "Most Popular Purple Clay Work Award".

    In 2008, he created "Nine Dragon Pot" again and won the gold medal in the 5th Zisha Handmade Original Production Competition.

    The works strive for innovation while retaining the powerful charm of oriental culture, and are deeply loved by purple sand lovers. His representative works include high stone ladles, jade pots, etc., which combine tradition and innovation and have certain collection value.
