Author: Ma Wengong

Rank: New-school ceramic artist (Professional grade for spring potters)

Mud material: raw ore old section mud

Capacity: 120cc

Features of the pot:

The textures and marks on the pot body may seem chaotic, but in fact every detail is carefully carved by hand. The textures add color and are not rigid at all. The wooden texture is delicate, but the temperament is freehand. The teacher pursues expressive ideas with refined techniques, fully displaying the vicissitudes of tree galls over the years.

[Professional spring pottery hand] Ma Wengong, a new-school art ceramicist, was born in Huai'an, northern Jiangsu Province in 1973. He came to Dingshan to engage in purple sand pottery at a young age. He has laid a solid foundation by imitating ancient wares for many years, and then concentrated on the field of texture, making thin ceramic pottery. Spring has many changes but does not violate ancient traditions.
