[Two famous teachers and apprentices] Liu Qingzhong (Jingyuan), born in 1986, graduated from Wuxi Vocational and Technical College in 2008. In 2013, he studied purple sand pottery carving with Wang Xiang, a contemporary master of purple sand carving. Mr. Liu learned pot-making skills from Mr. Wang Qiang, the founder of Wutang.

The style of Liu Qingzhong's works is simple and natural, and the bamboo sections in his works are elegant, refined and beautiful, reflecting the intellectual style of a literati. The overall pot feels light to the touch, the lid and spout are tightly connected, and the craftsmanship is solid.
