About the author:

[Palace-level craft master] Shi Yinzhi, born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province in 1965, graduated from high school in 2019. In 1983, he began to develop purple clay teapots, and he successively studied with Chinese arts and crafts artists Cao Yalin and Zhang Peiyuan. The works are complete in "shape, workmanship, material, style, essence, energy, spirit and rhyme". The pot art is elegant in shape, ingenious in conception, fine in workmanship and outstanding in theme, and has won unanimous praise from experts. His works have won many awards and are deeply loved by collectors. Graduated from the Zisha Art Advanced Research Class of China Academy of Art in 2013.

Most of the works are original and patented. The works won the gold medal in the East China Arts and Crafts Exhibition in 2002; the silver medal in the 6th China (National) Arts and Crafts Masters Exhibition; the silver and bronze medals in the Yixing Zisha Art Macau Exchange Exhibition; the 6th China Arts and Crafts Masters Exhibition; The Cross-Strait Flower Expo won the Excellence Award; the first Yixing Ceramics Decoration Exhibition won the Excellence Award, and was included in the "Contemporary Yixing Ceramic Masters Collection", "Contemporary Chinese Purple Clay Illustrated Collection" and "China's Contemporary Purple Clay Elite Works Collection", commonly seen in "Pots" "Zhongtiandi", "Tea and Pot", "Yitao People", "Contemporary Chinese Purple Clay Art", "Treatise on Pots", "History of Pots", "Appreciation of Tea Pots", "New Rhythm of Purple Clay", "Pictures of Purple Clay Pots" , "Chinese Contemporary Zisha Heroes", "Appreciation of Zisha Original Works", "Ceramic Art Celebrities Collection" and "Han Ying Zui Hua" published by the China Academy of Art and other books and periodicals.
