[New force of the new school] - Shen Wenhui, born in Yixing in 1976, joined the Zisha Arts and Crafts Factory in the 1990s. He was taught by famous experts in the special arts class and learned ceramic modeling design and ceramic craftsmanship. He also studied ancient Zisha wares of the past dynasties. After being trained at work, the maturity of purple clay skills has been affirmed and appreciated by many purple clay enthusiasts. His personal works won awards in the Jiangsu Province High-Skilled Talents and Professional Skills Competition. His personal works are collected by Yixing Art Museum, Hong Kong Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, etc., and he has won the gold medal of Shanghai Arts and Crafts Exquisite Association and other honors. Published papers in Suzhou Arts and Crafts, Guangdong Foshan Ceramics, Jiangsu Ceramics and other publications.
