[Liyong signed artist] - Chen Meihua, a national arts and crafts artist, a member of the China Arts and Crafts Society, and a member of the Jiangsu Ceramics Association. Born in Dingshu Town, Yixing, the capital of pottery, in 1970, he was influenced by purple clay culture since childhood and has his own unique insights into purple clay art. After graduating in 1988, he entered the Zisha Craft Factory to learn the art of purple clay pots. He was diligent, studious and innovative. Later, he received guidance from many famous teachers and developed exquisite pot-making skills. The works created have smooth lines, delicate workmanship and rich charm, and are deeply loved by collectors at home and abroad. Representative works include Bamboo Rhyme Pot and Yuhua Stone.

The work "Yun Bamboo Teapot" was sold at the 2014 Beijing Poly International Autumn Auction for ¥40,250.

The work "Spring Liang Pot" was sold at the "Shizhuzhai 2020 Autumn Cultural Relics and Art Auction" in 2021 for ¥11,500 .
